I’ve worn many titles in my life — student, civil rights education attorney, mother — but through them all and for as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a camera at the hip. I’ve spent a lifetime captivated by the power of a moment frozen in time, and there’s just something extra special about telling West Coast love stories. No matter how many times I move away from the Bay Area, there’s something about the rolling fog, the breathtaking bay views, and the warmth of the community that always draws me back home.
Grateful for the wild and wonderful journey that brought me here, I proudly serve families and couples in love across California as a portrait and wedding photographer. With a focus on sincere and authentic connection, beautiful light, and the big (but also the smaller, in-between) moments, I create galleries full of images that are joyful and genuine. I bring a modern twist to classic portraiture by incorporating dynamic movement, while still retaining that sophisticated and delicate, film-inspired feel you love.
I believe the most beautiful images are created when you feel at ease and free to connect authentically with the ones you love, so from the moment we meet until you receive your final gallery, I strive to create an experience that is effortless and fun. Led by your vision and inspired by your love story, we will create something breathtaking and lasting.
When I’m not spending time with incredible families and couples like you who make my job a dream come true, you can probably spot me at the beach with my two kids or throwing a tennis ball for my boxer, Root Beer.
I can’t wait to get to know you! Say hello, and let’s begin the adventure together!

“Sarah is the full package. From the moment we started working together through delivering our wedding photos, Sarah was attentive, flexible and professional, and made us feel like we were the most special people in the world. She struck a perfect balance between giving us the reins to achieve our vision and offering her own expert vision and guidance -- which was always spot on."
